Public Relations Disclosure - Effective 6-1-10 

This website was conceived and designed by Kristin Stone (the country cook), and all content is my personal creation.  The focus of this website is food, particularly comfort food.  I try to choose recipes that are easy to fix, use every day ingredients, and are generally healthy.  I also have an interest in special diets, including the IBS diet, fructmal diet, and gluten free diet.

I enjoy reviewing products that are geared towards cooking, baking, or anything else that would pertain to my site.  I am especially excited about products such as cookbooks, food and drink items, cookware, kitchen gadgets, appliances, and cooking products.  I would be more than happy to consider your product for review.  Please keep in mind, however, that I will only represent and recommend products that I would use myself and intend to give an honest review of anything that I try.  If, for any reason, I do not feel that I can write a positive review, I will contact you prior to posting anything about your product on my site. 

How does a product review or giveaway work?
If you would like me to review your product on my website, please provide me with an actual product sample.  I must try the product myself in order to give it an honest review.  I also ask for a second sample of the product to use in a giveaway.  Hosting a giveaway will not only promote the review, but the willingness to share the product with my readers will also lend more credibility to my review.  When hosting a giveaway, I ask that the company directly ship the prize to the winner (I will provide the contact information).

Disclaimer: If you want a product sample returned after the review, this must be stated and agreed upon before I receive the product and write the review post. If the product is to be sent back after a review, then I will require you to pay for the return shipping.

I will never charge a fee to do product reviews or giveaways.  Please keep in mind that any opinions stated are solely my own; my opinions will not be wavered in any way by the products I receive.  If I am being compensated for any services, my post will clearly state that it contains paid or sponsored content. Any compensation I do receive will be for my time in writing and creating content for that post or program.  I operate under a full disclosure policy in accordance with FTC rules and guidelines.  Advertisements by a third party ad network will be clearly identified as paid advertisements.

I will not post any "teasers" in advance to your company's product review or giveaway.  Once I have published a review, I will notify you by e-mail and include a link back to the post.  Within the post, I will include a direct link back to the company's main website or product page; any other links will be included per your request.  I will ask permission before using any graphics and logos. 

If you prefer your product review to be handled in a certain time frame, please let me know prior to the review.  Reviews and giveaways are handled in the order that I receive them. 

How can my website benefit your company? 

My site is updated on a regular basis with excellent recipe posts which include my own food creations and photography. I interact with other influential food bloggers on a daily basis, and I also have an extensive community of friends and followers outside of the blogging community.

Delightful Country Cookin' has a quickly growing number of subscribers and followers.  Currently, I have an average of 315 facebook followers, 200 Google followers, and 75 e-mail subscribers, and I receive approximately 25,000 visitors per month.  These numbers continue to grow each week as I share exciting recipes and food commentary, and they will only further grow with each product review and giveaway I offer.
